Looks like my place of employment is on the verge of being “sold”:http://www.dailynews.com/Stories/0,1413,200%257E20954%257E2680457,00.html by Boeing. Rumors are abundant at work, but no one is really afraid of losing their jobs. It might not be such a bad thing to be part of another company. Only time will tell. Stay tuned for further news (Wednesday perhaps?)
I’m home sick today. What a bummer. I think I may have bronchitis. I’ll see what the doctor has to say. Grrrr, I hate being sick.
We went to the doctors today. Everything is fine with the baby. Meghann is just the right size for one baby (there’s not two in there), and the heartbeat is loud and clear. The ultrasound machine was still broken, so no more pictures, and no gender news. We were very disappointed. We have to wait 3 more weeks. They are sending us to another clinic for the ultrasound. Bummer!
We got new “carpet”:http://www.labrodeurs.org/photos/2005-01/carpet/IMG_2205.JPG today. It turned out very nice. We should have done this two years ago! Sorry to those of you that had to sleep on the old stuff over Christmas.

We had some water damage from the recent southern california storm. We had to rip some carpet out of our master bedroom since it started to stink. It was soaked about two feet back from the wall. Water, dirt, worms and bugs had washed in under the sliding glass door. It was gross. I’ll take and post pictures in the near future.
Lesson learned: When buying a house, make sure the yard slopes away from the house.
