We got the toilet in! Yahoo! In case you’re wondering, yes it’s been christened. We also finished grouting which you can see in the photos below.

After weeks and weeks of wall tile, we finally gratuated to the floor. We installed the mortar bed in the bottom of the shower and after that we laid the tile for the bathroom floor. It was a very productive day. Tomorrow, provided the mortar is dry enough, we’ll put the shower floor tile in and be done with tile for a bit. Unfortunately there’s still the countertop to tile once we install the vanity.

Meghann had her Baby Shower on Saturday. I hear it was a rousing success. She came home with truckloads of baby stuff, so thank you all who were kind enough to think of us as we bring a new life into this world! We don’t have pictures yet since Meghann forgot to bring our digital camera. I hear there were lots at the party, so don’t be shy people, send us your photographs! Thanks! I did get a nice button out of the deal, which you can see below.

We posted some more “photos”:http://www.labrodeurs.org/photos/2005-05/Tile/ of the tile work we did this weekend. The cutting sure is tedious. Tim spent a little bit each day, and Tim and Meghann most of Sunday, and we still didn’t finish the shower walls. Only the little bench is left, so hopefully we can finish this week. We’d like to pour the shower floor next weekend if at all possible. Having Mom B. here kinda put a damper on the ‘gung ho’ work, but it sure was nice to have her here. We’ll take visitors over work any day!

Meghann had her third ultrasound. It was unfortunately unplanned, so Tim missed it. The Doctor was contemplating buying a new ultrasound machine and the ultrasound machine vendor happened to be out for a preview during Meghann’s appointment.
