We spent yesterday putting some finishing touches on the nursery and the guest room, hanging puctures and other things. It’s starting to look like a real home in here. It’s been a long time in coming. We’ve been living here nearly three years now, and it’s been a semi-disaster-construction zone the whole time. It’s a welcome change. Too bad there’s still some work left to be done…. but not today.
I had my first Father’s Day today, even though our baby boy is not quite out yet. I got a bunch of cards. Very thoughtful of folks. He is getting closer though. Meghann says he has dropped for sure. He’s lower and pressing down low in her belly. She says it’s somewhat uncomfortable, the first time in here easy-breezy pregnancy. That kid will be here anytime now. We only hope he waits at least a week so Meghann can go to her best friend’s wedding. She’s going to be a sight as the Matron of Honor!
Happy Father’s Day!
