I know it’s not a very scary pumpkin, but there’s a pumpkin carving contest at work. A dinner out is at stake! This should be a winner at the rocket factory, don’t you think? (Pumpkin won 1st prize. Tim and Meg are goin’ to the Outback Steakhouse! Who wants to babysit?) We’ll probably replace this photos later with one of Kyle in his cute outfit(s). (Picture replaced. We posted the weekend photos early this week. Kyle went down early, so I had some time tonight. Meghann says he looks like ET in these photos. How you ask? So did I. Apparently with all the stuffed animals around his head, he looks like ET in the scene where he’s hiding in the closet. I’m not so certain. Check ‘em out and decide for yourself.

Kyle ate his first bowl of rice cereal last night! Contrary to what we’ve heard from some industry professionals, he seemed quite ready for it. He had no trouble downing his first helping. He ate every last drop of what we fixed for him. He had no issues with the spoon or anything. Too bad it wasn’t enough extra food to help him sleep through the night. We’ll up the amount tonight to see if that helps. Anyway, here’s some ultra cute photos of the experience.

Here’s some photos of ‘the boy’ from the weekend. He’s getting so interactive! The cutest thing he did in the last week was when he was in his Mom’s lap while she was eating stew. Every spoonful she brought to her lips, Kyle opened his mouth in anticipation. He watched longingly as the spoon went into Mommy’s mouth. Sooooo sad, but very cute and exciting. I think he’ll be ready for spoon feeding soon. He’s learning, you can tell. He also ‘talks’ a lot now. Just tonight he told us the longest story. It must’ve been 10 minutes long. Too bad only he understood completely. :p

After a very busy weekend with visitors and parties, we’re finally getting around to posting LOTS of photos. We loaded up the server! (see the links below).
Kyle’s Baptism went well. He only fussed a little bit, and a pacifier calmed his nerves before the big “dip.” He didn’t cry a bit. I think he thought it was bath time. He’s always good at bath time.
