The C stands for Crawling and Chewing. Kyle can now get up on his hands and knees and rock back and forth. He mostly goes backwards when he does get to scooting, but sometimes he goes forward. He’s getting really good at balancing on all fours. It’s only a matter of time before he’s crawling like the wind.

He also has a little white dot of tooth exposed in his lower left gum. Must be a tooth because he didn’t sleep very well last night. We drugged him up with some tylenol tonight, so hopefully he (and us parent types) will sleep a little better.

Kyle is now scooting about the house. If you put him down, he won’t stay in the same spot for long. There are a couple pictures “here”:http://www.labrodeurs.org/coppermine/thumbnails.php?album=9 of him scooting on the wood floor. He’s soooooo cute!

Kyle had his six month check up today. We were lucky to be seen today at the doctor because the staff screwed up our appointment! After sitting in the packed waiting room, full of kids barking like seals for 45 minutes, past our “appointment,” I was told our appointment was for yesterday! Funny, since the reminder card they wrote out for me was for today! Sheesh. Once we were seen, Kyle got 4 shots, poor guy! He screamed like a banchee for a bit and then calmed down enough to give me the saddest look. What a trooper. Here are his latest stats:

Weight: 18 lbs, 1 oz. (63rd percentile)
Length: 29 in. (off the chart at 95th percentile)

It looks as if he’s really growing into his big feet!

Kyle gets his 6 month checkup tomorrow. Wish him luck with the shots. We’ll post with his vital statistics tomorrow night.

We keep trying to tell Kyle it’s “Pat the Bunny” not “Eat the Bunny,” but he just doesn’t get it.
