Kyle fed himself his first dinner tonight. He had avocado, fettucine, zucchini, and cheese, and a sippy cup of water to wash everything down. He ate a bunch and it was actually the cleanest meal he’s had in a long time. No mushy ground up stuff to swipe all over the place. How nice!

He’s discovered his tongue. He sticks it out at you if you do the same. Pretty cute, for now.

He’s also got a new friend he likes to zoom around the house on. Big Bird! This was Meghann’s toy when she was little. Glad to see it’s entertaining another generation. Mom and Dad still have to push, but he’ll get the hang of it soon.

Everybody can relax now. We have a pool fence. It’s made of mesh and it’s removable. Very nice for the price.

Kyle had his 8+ month doctors appointment today. He got three shots and was a champ about it, so Mom says. He only cried for a little bit. Here’s his new stats:

Weight: 19lb 3 oz. (50th percentile)
Length/Height: 29.5 inches. (95th percentile)

He’s tall and skinny like his Daddy!
